Naruto: Fading Hope is an AU (Alternate Universe) roleplay forum. What this means is that there are not canons on our site. While we may reference certain ones, the line of canons ends after Madara and Shodaime's battle at the Valley of the End. After that the site is completely AU. For more information please proceed through the plot link. This is the first Arc and we have many more planned. This however is just a general event for the site. The beauty of N:FH is that we the staff try to have members form the plot yourselves!
The story of the site up to now is as follows. It is fourteen years after the the last shinobi war, each village having just about recovered and releasing a new generation of shinobi from the academy into the world of a shinobi. They will have to become stronger and learn to rely on on another if they wish to survive this lifestyle. Plans are unfolding and Kirigakure has come out of a policy of isolation, inviting the other great shinobi nations to take part in a festival, complete with a tournament.
Every village tries to maneuver themselves towards various goals, but in the end it comes down to the choices every shinobi makes, they are the ones who truly shape the world. What will the next generation inherit?
