PERSONALITY:
Shiryuu by his fellow colleagues and Chou-sensei or Shiryuu-sensei by his students. Shiryuu is known for his humorous sarcasm, and grumpy if his students failed to do their homework. In return, he threatened them by decreasing their test marks with his rather scary [and comical] facial expression. He is also strict and stern to his students in the class as well, if there is any students of his rebelled, Shiryuu will put on his sarcastic smirk and made these rebellious student to carried sandbags and run around the field as punishment. He also liked to annoy his colleagues with his sarcasm. Shiryuu is also harsh and strict in Kendo class.
Even though he is a strict type, Shiryuu always presumptuous and sometimes... vulgar which often led him into troubles. He cared for his students deeply and always protect them when they are harmed or blamed by individuals. Shiryuu shown his soft-spot, fun-loving attitude and friendliness to his students when the class is over or outside of the school. Once, when his students were attacked by boys from other schools... Shiryuu armed himself with a kendo [katana if encountered gangsters] and bashed those who harmed his students with his kendo skills.
It is also known that Shiryuu is a former Yakuza high member in his youth [this explained his habit of smoking, drinking and Japanese dragons tattooed on his chest]. Shiryuu's father is a feared but respected Yakuza boss so those other Yakuza members who encountered Shiryuu will be in fear.
