Looking up at the sky, it was a brisk full evening, the color of te sky, the cool fresh breeze of the wind, it was a nice day, even if he didn't happen to capture any good insects. Shino, slightly tired, looked the opposite from hanabi, then took off his glasses to clean them. the warmth of the ground mixed with the different heating from standing up.
Looking back at her, she had a questionable look on her face."You have something to say, yes? Speak your minds red-faced wonder." His normally emotionless tone became for wondered. She had many different feelings as it may seem. She was younger, so he wold expect so, nonetheless, she could possible have multitude of questions. He was ready for anything quite frankly.

Hanabi smiled at the name he used. She was getting used to that; in fact, it was a friendly term, as she saw it. When she realized that he had noticed her uncertainty to ask her question, she looked back up at the sky, a little amazed by his perceptiveness.
"I know this is going to sound silly, but Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a star, Shino-sama?"

Looking back up at the sky, he had a somewhat small grin on his face. Ever thought of being a star.. huh. Shino never thought of such thing, he's always kept his imagination at a limit to only the small things."A star eh? It would get kind of lonely, being up there for 13 billion years, in the cold, space..and you would just keep.. floating there, nothing to do. No new fighting stances to learn, no insects to collect.. just.. nothing." He looked back at her. He knew it wasn't the answer she was looking for, but Shino had to give her something, something what he thought would be both intellectual and meaningful.

Hanabi couldn't stifle a laugh, caused by Shino's reply. "I suppose it would get rather lonely..and stars can't catch insects or do martial arts, can they.." she said, turning her head to look at him. It felt nice to be lying here in the park, sharing the night sky with a new-found friend. It was very nice. Unusual, but nice.
She wondered briefly where the butterfly had flown to, but then her gaze and thoughts returned to the stars and her friend. He had made her laugh, and he had been both amusing and intelligent. That was a combination she hadn't seen in most people.

Realizing his point of view of the stars itself, Shino felt like a sense of understanding had been formed between them to. She had looked at him, with a small smile, it was amusing, to see other people have these emotions, emotions that Shino would forbid himself to ever show to another person, as it shows weakness.
He looked back at her, her face still pure of innocence..he somewhat liked that, but somebody at least has to teach her the ways of the world.Looking back up at the sky, she was right about something though, the night was wonderful.

Hanabi watched Shino, She didn't usually open up to people, but there was something about him that made her..less reclusive. She wasn't sure what it was, and she wasn't sure that showing her emotions was the strong thing to do, but she had been playing a strong person growing up.
It was nice to occasionally be 'soft', as Father called it. He was very strict about training and being strong, but she had seen him 'soft' a couple times. Which was nice. If Father could be nice sometimes, then it didn't hurt for her to be friendly. She smiled again at the thought.

Checking the time on his watch, conveniently located under one of his sleeves, it had been quite awhile sense he first arrived at the park. He had barley gotten any studies in, it was a shame, at least he got to meet a new, interesting friend. It was nice to actually meet somebody from time to time, that was at least willing to have a somewhat simple conversation, if Shino had not to make it awkward.
Getting up, Shino faced Hanabi, still on the ground, who, spread out, doesn't look as tall as she is when standing up. Sticking out his hand, his soft, smooth jacket began blowing in the wind."Well, today was indeed an interesting day, im sure not just for me, but for you as well, consequently, this night has to end, Why? Because i must depart towards my house soon.

Hanabi looked up, and smiled at the hand Shino was offering her. She gratefully accepted it, and stood, facing him. The breeze was blowing his jacket. She felt a little sad, since their meeting was coming to an end so soon. It was to be expected, but she wasn't sure she liked it, anyways. Leaving was a sad thing, no matter what.
She tilted her head, looking up at Shino. "I suppose it does have to end, doesn't it.." she said, trying to keep the sadness out of her voice. She wanted to hug him, impulse told her to, common sense said to wait.
