"we really need to stop meeting like this." like, seriously? her butt was getting sore. [/style]

[Bug Whisperer]

Hanging out at the boardwalk was something Shino was used to, he would come here whenever incest would migrate to the moist area whenever the central city would get cold. He enjoyed the peacefulness, as nobody bothered him there, well most of the time. Occasionally there'd be a snicker of a laugh, Shino didnt mind, he was used to it. Standing, he would open his palms as the incest would migrate towards his body heat. He didnt mind, he found that they tickled. They were interesting creatures at that, and they all went away with a bump.

He put his foot out so he wouldn't fall to his knees. He felt a bit aggravated as the bugs fled from his palms, then he herd a most familiar voice. He turned around, looking at the woman on the floor, it was yet again Nanami.

"Agreed. I was doing some research on the local insects, but thanks to you, they've flown away. Thanks.."

He didnt sound aggressive, his voice, just became softer and just as smooth. He reached his hand out, offering to help her up, pushing his glasses up with the other hand, He felt like his voice got a tad bit happier.

"...but im glad to see you again, Nanami."

"it's nice to see you, too." the blunette was serious, for once -- though unexpected, it really was nice to see shino again. "so, what're you doing out here? looking at bugs?" her words weren't taunting or hostile, merely curious. perhaps nanami was slightly freaked out by insects, (um, come on, they were creepy and crawly and once she got stung by a bee and it was gross) but she recognized the fact that they were still an intriguing species to study. to each their own, she supposed. she thought some weird things were cool, too -- like...yeah no everything she liked was normal, who was she kidding? herself? sighing at her rambling thoughts, she shifted her weight from foot to foot, waiting for the sophomore to reply. Shino, not surprised that Nanami was here, was surprised that she actually enjoyed his company, even though this was there second meet. She began to mention bugs. Putting his hands into his jacket pockets, his voice didn't lose a beat, yet it was still the bland, smooth voice.

"Well i was.. until a certain spaced out person came by and ran into me."

Taking on hand out of his pocket, he pushed his glasses up. He felt a little upset, it would be the only time of the year he would be able to find this species for the next few months. He wouldn't want to be to harsh on the girl though, especially sense he felt that she had the same intellectual level as he did. Taking somewhat of a deep breath, he let out his anger as he circulated the fresh air in his blood stream. Putting his hands pack into his pockets, he looked back at her.

"I should ask you the same, what are doing at such a place, miss Nanami?

"yeah, sorry about that..." she said, voice a tad sarcastic but apology still genuine. "i didn't mean to bump into you again. i just did." biting her lip from the not-awkward, but not exactly comfortable silence lingering between them, she sighed in relief when he spoke again. "i should ask you the same. what are doing at such a place, miss nanami?" blue eyes blinked, once, twice, then decided on an answer that wouldn't reveal that her parents were jerks but wouldn't be particular stupid either. "i just wanted some fresh air, i guess. my house is sort of suffocating." the freshman wrinkled her nose. it was true-- her house sucked. [/style]

'i didn't mean to bump into you again. i just did.'
Shino could tell, by her voice that she was somewhat sarcastic, however, he still could tell that she felt good about her response. Poking her in the forehead, he stopped her from talking, as the scene got awkward. He got closer near her, staring into her bright blue eyes. They reminded him of the ocean, free, calm, lovely. Moving back to his original stance, halfway near being off the board. Grinning, he knew she doesn't know how exactly to respond to it. She didn't exactly know last time. To be fair, he usual would not play this game with anybody else.

"Apology accepted."

Halfway through her mumbling, she mentioned that she just wanted to get some fresh air. Shino, smiling in a way that she could not see. Her house was suffocating.. he felt like she was trying to leave him clues. he noted the things she said in hismind, however not all of it may fit exactly in there.

"I see what you mean. It leaves a nice view of the water, don't yo think? Reminds me of the open, free world out there. All those places and people to meet. Its like an adventure, just imagining whats out there."
