It was a place full of silence and books; two things she couldn't get enough, especially living next door to Naruto Uzumaki. She could hear him all the way in her bedroom, which was in the middle of her own house, and his was on the farthest side from her house. He was loud, but his mother was sure as hell louder. She could hear her screeching all the way across the street at Shikamaru's house at times. She still loved his mother though; she was so happy and cool, and motherly. Nothing like Sakura's own mother; her own mother was a whore and tried to act like her friend instead of a parent. Sakura hated it. It was behind the reasoning to why Sakura liked being at both Naruto and Shika's house so much; both of their mothers nurtured her like she were their own child. Shaking her head, Sakura returned to her bookish thoughts. She was in the Library, sitting at a table, Science book open to the page of homework she had to do that night, but her homework had already been finished, she was just checking the answers over. After checking them twice, she closed the book with a thump and pulled out a small, tattered book from her bag. A romance novel she knew forwards and backwards, the front cover tearing at the edges and trying to fall off the book. She began reading it, slouching down in her seat. She had already shed her uniform jacket and was now in just her button up blouse, skirt, her knee high socks, and mary-janes. Her short hair was in a messy bun, high on her head, with wisps of hair falling over her forehead and eyes, tickling at her nose softly. She had been in the library for over thirty minutes, ever since school had ended for the day. She spent most days that she had no plans either in the schools Library or curled in her own bed at home, studying or reading. Most people had left the school by now, most not wanting to stay in the school longer than needed, but the Librarian knew Sakura was still there, she always knew that Sakura stayed for about a hour, and she trusted the pink-haired braniac not to reck anything if she closed earlier, she always made sure to prop the locked door open for her. So, here she sat, reading her romance novel in a quiet Library.[/style] | [atrb=style, width: 5px;] | [atrb=style, width: 120px; text-align: center; border-top: 5px solid #ff4b93; padding: 5px 0px 0px 0px;][atrb=vAlign,top] [STYLE=width: 100px; height: 100px; border: 5px solid #c4c2c2;][/style] |
